    waddle! waddle! waddle!

I've been waddling since yesterday due to the sore legs I got from Saturday's jog. You know waddling like a penguin? Yeah, that's me. I refrain from wearing pants or anything short to hide how I walk. Yesterday I put on a long dress, and today I wear baju kurung to work.

So yesterday, despite my sore legs, I refused to stay-in and rest cos the more I lay idle, the more painful my legs were. So might as well I make myself roam out and about, kan? So I chose to tag Liyana to Cloth & Clef for some Green Trashcan event. She just couldn't stop snickering at my waddle. But it was good to be out yesterday evening. And spend some quality time with Liyana herself.

In short, my ditzy/funny moments include:-

    • Just 10-minutes away from Changkat, I realised that my phone was missing from my bag.  So I whined and stressed abt leaving my phone at home. To which, Liyana commented, "Ish budak bandar ni.. Freak out bila takde technology.." And then, just as we arrived at Cloth & Clef, I found my phone. It was hidden in the back-pocket of my new handbag. Hehe. Typical New-Handbag Syndrome, where I forget where I stash my stuff into the bag. *tepukdahi*
    • The one-hour plus we were there watching a few bands play, it didn't even occur to us that we were just watching the soundcheck! As we got up and left for dinner, it was just time for the show to officially begin where the MC halau-ed the crowd out to go and pay for the entrance fee. And there we thought that these upcoming bands were so arty and their music was so abstract and open for interpretation.
    • We headed to Subway Subang for dinner. Karaoked ourselves to the cheesy love songs that were playing on the shop's stereo. From Scorpion, Richard Marx, Savage Garden to Bryan Adams, the cd then rosak and stuck-stuck. Due to the cheesiness overload kut. Fail. As we left, we cleared the table from our garbage and threw everything away into the trash bin before I waddled to Liyana's car.
    • Liyana's car is named Mojo. I decided to glamourise it to Mr. Mojo Risin', which is an anagram for Jim Morrison. And then I mistook Mojo's engine grunts for the bus in front of us. Hm. It's high time for Mojo to go for service. Or overhaul je la terus. Haih.
    • Reached home in glee that I'll be munching on my Subway cookie while watching tv, only to find it missing. I must have thrown away the cookie together with our garbage earlier. Liyana gelak lagi at my ditziness, and again as I waddled in to my home.

Nak keep fit la sangat kan, baru jog sikit dah sakit-sakit kaki. Haiyo.

    Snooze. It's a slow Friday.

I'll be meeting my girls tonite for dinner. Mmm I haven't seen them all together for so long. And I've been on hibernating mode this whole week. Resisted invites to go out after work and instead, I opted for dvd marathon for 3 nights in a row.

Tuesday - My Life in Ruins
Wednesday - The Holiday, The Proposal, My Big Fat Greek Wedding
    Thursday - The Hangover

There's still a bunch more waiting to be watched. I have this habit of buying tons of dvds and never be able to find the time to watch them all. I don't think I even touched the previous 3 batches of dvd that I bought pun. Haih. Anyways, now that I'm (temporarily) on my hibernate-at-home mode, I'll try watch as many as I can.

    Hmmm.

    catch-up.

My writer's block has gone on long enough.

I always have something to say, even though, they're mostly random and nonsensical stuff. But I guess, anyone who's a motormouth pun will end up habis minyak and everything will go quiet from there, until the next time they're inspired all over again.

So, just to continue from where I left off, in the form of pictures.

    • Firstly, my beloved Zahara, who was 8-months in my third last entry, is now coming to 20-months old. She's gonna be a big sister soon, we're just waiting for her mama to burst, which should be anyday now.
               IMG00116-20090816-1238
    • Then, my stepsister, Nina who got married last year is also now a mother to Ilsa Maryam. Born just 2 days before Hari Raya, I call her PipiLabuh.
               P9180034
    • Our beautiful Savannah baby named Alpha recently went missing for 10 days before he found his way home last Sunday. He has also lost a lot of weight and needed plenty of time to recuperate. He's very manja and seeks shameless attention 24/7.
              IMG00220-20091011-1729

    • My friends are still as lame, crazy, funny, sarcastic, blur, feisty as ever. I love them the same, if not more. Pictures of them will continuously ensue in future entries.

    • I've discovered that I am such a tortoise. And that I'm just as prone to "eat my own words" like any other person. Never say never, ey? Whatever it is, I'm in a much better state now, alhamdulillah. I've also developed and currently sharpening my skills in being cheesy and corny. One of my goals is to make my friends vomit at my cheesiness. Hehehe.
                P9280080
    • My family is still as garang, nyaring, funny, warm, odd, protective and overload on oestrogen as ever. I love them the same, if not more. Pictures of them will continuously ensue in future entries.

    I miss this blog.
Didn't realise it's almost a year since I left it idle.
Blogging elsewhere didn't feel the same.
    So I stopped completely.

I might just come back. Kut.
I'm in the mood to share.
Welcoming back a part of me that loves to write.
    About carefree stuff.

    i wonder, wonder, wonder.

I bought the McD's Madagascar headband today. The one with the Melman (giraffe) ears. I brought my lunch & the headband back to the office, gleefully showed to FahmyJiggy what I bought and he happily asked,

FahmyJiggy: "Ohh! Is that for Zahara?!"
Me: "Err.. no. It's for me."
(terus feel like org tua tak sedar diri)

Yea, I bought myself a giraffed-ears headband and my brother asked if I bought it for his 9-months old daughter.
And it doesn't help I turn twentyfive tomorrow.
    Aaaaah, dah tuaaaaaaaa.

    Don't care.
Next week, I'm buying the Marty (zebra) ears headband.
The week after that, I'm buying the Alex (lion-mane) headband.
The week after the week after next, I'm buying the Gloria (hippo-ears) headband.

    I'm a child at heart.
    What can I say.

    I'm sleep-deprived.
    Running on red bull.
Which is not a good thing.
That sickly sweet slash souring tastes.
    Blergh.

    And it's only 10am!
I can only go to bed twelve hours from now.
That's the earliest I can get home tonite.
    Jeez.

The past holiday week had my sleeping hours topsy-turvy and it hasn't gone back to normal just yet. So now I'd be wide awake even at 3am or 4am when I'm supposed to work at 830am. I'm so not used to this lack of sleep. Not anymore. Bzzt bzzzttt.

Ezoo's heading back to Melbourne tomorrow morning. So soon it's already 2weeks plus since he came back. Then I'll see Kastee get all mandom again, but maybe just for a short while. Hehe. Buat apa nak get upset over Ezoo lama-lama. I wouldn't. It's just Ezoo, ain't that special. Hehehehe. Haaaih, all this weirdness surrounding me. To think I'm used to it by now. Hm hm.

See, I'm just rambling. To keep me awake. Mengantuk sangat-sangat.
O by the way, I'm so hooked on these pictures now, I cannot get enough of them.
I've been posting them up almost everywhere.
I like seeing these pictures everywhere anyway.

Our 8-month old Zahara already is a daddy's girl

    n760160643_4500708_8193
This is like, "He's my daddy..mineeee.."

    n760160643_4500709_8705
    "Dadddddyyy.."

    n760160643_4500710_9218
Still clinging on to her daddy.

    n760160643_4500901_8010
Totally having some father-daughter moment there.

    n760160643_4500902_8548
"I'm clinging on to you some moreeee.."

    n760160643_4500903_9096
Then she looks up and thinks, "Hmm? Zero Sugar?"

    n760160643_4500904_9622
"What do you mean my daddy's drinking Zero Sugar coke?"

    n760160643_4501001_1139
Then she just sat and smiled. Totally looks like Fahmy here.

    n760160643_4501003_2283
See the resemblance? I know la, nama also father.. but it's uncanny!

    Haih.

The more I see Zahara, the more I miss PahRahmah. Almost two years now. A year la actually, I last saw her during last year's Raya Haji for just a short while. It's almost two years since I last hungout, played with her and babysit for her. Last year, she could already talk and was quite the motormouth too.. An aspiring painter and an accountant. Imagine a two-year old trotting down the hall holding a paintbrush on one hand, and a sempoa on the other hand. When asked by her cousins, "PahRahmah, what do you want to be today?" She just stared at her paintbrush and her sempoa for a bit and lifted her paintbrush. Feeling very artsy as she pretended to paint the wall. Then she got a taste of some Pods chocolates and from then on she would nudge either one of us and asked for some "Chocoyatt.."

    y P8200001
She was one in this picture. This is the closest depiction I could get of her asking for some Chocoyatt. With her big doe-eyes.

    y o98760439
    She was two here.

She's three years and four months old now. I wonder how much more of a motormouth could she be.
By now I think she can talk more fluently and she would have longer curly hair. Adorable.

    I miss her so.
    I hate broken bridges.

    Alaaaa emo la pulak..
    Dari mengantuk jadi emo.
Like, keluar mulut buaya masuk mulut harimau, like that.
Did I even get the peribahasa right, I also dunno.
But you get what I'm trying to say la right?

Okay, I've killed one hour plus just by blogging.
Feeling a bit more awake now.
    On with the work!

    where are you?

It's funny how I am already being extra meticulous in doing my job, there's still one or two mistakes left hiding somewhere in my work. Lucky that I have one very very good ex-lady boss who's problem-solving skills can be dubbed as her middle name already. I guess with her leaving, and also her secretary leaving, it leaves me in this big hole that I'm trying to salvage on my own. And being new in this, I can say that it's gonna be good for me in long-term knowing that I can cope. But in the mean time, whilst getting to the long-term picture, I'm still quite raw in this. And there will be more bumps that I just won't be able to see that I have to handle. Haihhh. Ni lah dia nama learning on the job in the name of climbing the career ladder. But I like it though. There's that satisfaction feeling in me whenever I manage to complete a job. I just have to be on extreeeeeeeemely-high-alert-mode, like beyond my abilities punya extreme. Fuuh.

Yesterday was by far, the best buka puasa I had with my friends. It was filled with good food, great company, suspense and great great great laughs. Today, this morning when I woke up, I have a sore throat. That's from laughing my ass off much too much last night. In a nutshell, tak sia-sia I plan a surprise on behalf of Ezrul to surprise Kastee on his return. Sweeeeet.

Few days ago, I've just finished my 2-weeks Entourage marathon. I am now having this withdrawal of Vincent Chase & Ari Gold. Oh I love me some Vincent Chase yum yum. Ari Gold's high level of crude, his offensive verbal lingos are quite a turn on. But only if it's Ari Gold la. If orang lain, ptuii. Never.

Raya is nearby. I now have four (4) kebayas to don during Raya. Wooohooohoooo. I love my kebayas this year. Like and love. Tak sia-sia I brave thru the traffic and the crowd of Jln Tuanku Abdul Rahman. And Masjid India. It's just worth it.

Goddamnit. I need to nurse my sore throat.
    Shall I buka puasa?
